How It All Works:

When first starting the Daughters of David, we faced a serious problem. We did not want to turn anyone away because they were too "old/young" since praise is not measured by age. So we decided from the start that there would not be an age limit on our dance team. However, we did not want to put just anyone up on stage to dance. How were we going to choose our dancers?

My mom (you might call her our manager) and I decided that there had to be a strong set of requirements that would filter out the girls for us. You can read all of those requirements by clicking Here . God poured out His wisdom and gave us the idea to have two teams under one ministry. The first team are our "Stage Dancers", the second our "Apprentice Dancers". The Stage Dancers are the girls who have fulfilled the first 3 requirements of Salvation, Baptism and Regular Sunday Service and are continuing to fulfill the rest. The Apprentice Dancers are girls who have not yet been baptized, or do not come regularly to church.

In other words: Anyone can practice with us. They can learn the steps, sit in on our studies, be under the name "Daughters of David", but they can not dance on stage until they have fulfilled those first 3 requirements.
